June is Seniors’ Month!
Canadian seniors have contributed much to our country. Under our previous government, the Age Credit amount was increased by $2,000 and the maximum amount of income eligible for the Pension Income Credit was doubled. Pension income splitting for seniors was also brought in. It is my hope that the current government will continue to respect seniors and ensure that they are not on the hook for any reckless spending the Liberal government has planned.
