Apprenticeship Incentive Grant - “a taxable cash grant of $1,000 per year, up to a maximum of $2,000 per person, available to registered apprentices once they have successfully finished their first or second year/level (or equivalent) of an apprenticeship program in one of the Red Seal trades”.

Apprenticeship Completion Grant – “a taxable cash grant of $2,000 maximum available to registered apprentices who have successfully completed their apprenticeship training and obtained their journeyperson certification in a designated Red Seal trade”.

Connecting Canadians – introduces a program to support high-speed Internet service to rural and remote areas of Canada.

Canadian Heritage Funding and Assistance Programs

  • Community Anniversaries -provides funding for non-recruiting events.
  • Legacy Fund - provides funding for community capital projects.
  • Local Festivals -  provides funding to local groups for recurring festivals.

Tax-Free Savings Account – provides a flexible, registered, savings account.

New Building Canada Fund : Small Communities Fund – provides $1 billion for projects in municipalities with fewer than 100,000 residents.

Student Grants/Loans – multiple government grants and loans that can help cover educational costs.

Enabling Accessibility Fund – helps cover construction and renovation costs of projects that improve accessibility and safety for Canadians with disabilities.

New Horizons for Seniors Program – provides funding for programs that provide seniors with opportunity to actively participate in their communities.

National Wetland Conservation Fund – provides funding to individuals and organizations for wetland conservation and restoration.
