Bev Shipley MP, Lambton-Kent-Middlesex today announced funding totalling $20,080 to seven municipalities and community organizations to support local Canada Day and National Aboriginal Day celebrations.
Shipley noted the celebrations on the Celebrate Canada calendar have become a tradition, providing Canadians the opportunity to share their pride in their country. "The success of these celebrations is due, in great part, to the efforts of the volunteer members of the Celebrate Canada and National Aboriginal Day committees all across Canada."
