Strathroy – Bev Shipley, M.P Lambton-Kent-Middlesex will be at Medway High School in Arva on April 4th, 2007, at 8:00am and again at 1:30 pm to wish Vimy Ridge bound students Bon Voyage.  They will be travelling to France as part of a group of approximately 3600 Canadian students to partake in ceremonies to commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the WWI Battle of Vimy Ridge.

Shipley will be on hand to help send them off, and a day later will himself be travelling to France to join the students and other dignitaries for the ceremonies to be held on April 9th. 

Shipley would like to invite members of the community and the press to join him in wishing the students well, as they depart to represent their country at an event that will remember one of Canada’s most tragic and historic events.
